Case Studies
The Situation
A Bangkok professional brought in a mid-range Swiss automatic that had never been serviced in nine years. It was losing around eight minutes per day and occasionally stopping overnight.
What Was Done
Full movement overhaul: disassembly, ultrasonic cleaning, replacement of a worn mainspring, appropriate lubrication, and five days of timing regulation across positions.
The Outcome
Returned with a daily rate of +3 seconds. The client has worn it daily since February 2025 and reports no issues. Total time: 19 days including observation period.

The Situation
An heirloom watch from the 1960s — a slim manual-wind dress piece — had been unworn for over fifteen years. The crystal was cracked, the movement stopped, and the owner had reservations about polishing away its original finish.
What Was Done
Pre-work consultation defined the scope: conservation cleaning of the dial only (no refinishing), hand case work to address only the deepest scratches, original-style acrylic crystal sourced, and full movement service.
The Outcome
The watch returned running well, with its original patina and character largely intact. The owner described it as running better than it had in the early 1980s. Total time: 31 days.

The Situation
A stainless steel sports watch had been dropped on a hard floor — the crystal was shattered in place and the case and bracelet had visible scuff damage along the edges. The movement continued working.
What Was Done
Crystal removed and replaced with a sapphire alternative matched to the model's specifications. Case and bracelet went through satin refinishing on the brushed sections and light polish on the bevelled edges. Pins replaced on two links that had worn loose.
The Outcome
The client collected the watch after twelve days and described the result as better than expected. The bracelet fit was also adjusted to preference, which they had not initially requested.
"I wasn't expecting them to also address the bracelet — that came as a welcome extra. The whole watch looks right again."
