Our Service Methodology
Every watch that comes through our workshop follows the same sequence, regardless of which service it's booked for. The process begins with an inspection before any quote is given and ends with a final check before the watch is returned.
For mechanical services, the watch also goes through five days of timing observation after reassembly. This isn't optional — it's how we confirm that the movement is running as it should across different positions and temperatures before we hand it back.
Intake & Photography
Watch is received, photographed, and given a workshop reference number.
Initial Assessment
Technician inspects the watch and prepares a written assessment and price estimate.
Client Approval
Work begins only after you confirm the scope and cost in writing or in person.
Service & Verification
The full service is performed, followed by timing verification and quality checks.
Return & Documentation
Watch is returned with a written condition report and any care notes for future reference.
Service 01
Mechanical Movement Service
A thorough overhaul for automatic and manual watches. Every component is removed, cleaned in an ultrasonic bath, inspected under magnification, and lubricated with the appropriate oil for that specific contact point. The movement is then reassembled and timed across multiple positions over five days.
Suitable for collectors and everyday wearers whose timepieces have been running for several years without professional attention. Each watch is returned with a written condition report noting the timing results and any observations that may be useful at the next service interval.

Service 02
Vintage Restoration
A careful approach for older timepieces where the original character of the watch matters as much as its function. This service begins with a consultation to understand what the piece means to its owner and what outcome they're looking for — because the balance between repair and preservation is different for every watch.
The work includes hand case refinishing to retain the original lines, dial cleaning using conservation methods that avoid aggressive chemicals, and crystal replacement with period-appropriate material where available. Replacement parts are matched to the watch's era and maker wherever possible.

Service 03
Crystal & Bracelet Refinement
A focused service for watches that are mechanically sound but have accumulated visible wear over years of daily use. Scratched or cracked crystals are replaced with sapphire or mineral alternatives matched to the specific model. The case and bracelet receive a satin-and-polish refinishing that restores their visual appeal without altering the original lines.
Pins and screws are replaced where worn, and the bracelet is sized to the wearer's wrist with appropriate clasp tolerance. The result is a watch that performs the same but looks considerably closer to what it did when new.

Workshop Protocols
Photographic Intake Record
Every watch is photographed on arrival. The image is referenced throughout the service and kept in the workshop file.
Individual Secure Storage
Watches are stored individually in labelled trays. No two pieces share a workspace or storage area at any point.
Correct Lubricant Selection
Movement lubricants are selected by contact point type — not applied uniformly. Correct viscosity at each point extends the service interval.
Electronic Timing Verification
Mechanical movements are measured on a timing machine across positions. Results are documented and shared in the condition report.
Client Notification at Key Stages
If findings during the service change the scope or cost, we contact you before continuing — not after the work is done.
Data Privacy Handling
Client details collected during service intake are stored securely and used only for service-related communication. Not shared with third parties.
